A great day!

Yesterday we went out on the streets of downtown Helsinki to give out our flyers promoting the lecture. The people there radiated incredible warmth and interest towards our ideas. I feel really grateful to have the opportunity to share Chamberlains philosophy with others.















Meanwhile, on the Internet I've met a guy from Germany who stumbled across my blog by accident and was really interested in the teachings of Chamberlain. His name is Andy and thanks to Chamberlain he has taken the first step towards reaching his dreams! I'm very proud of him even though I've never met him face to face. Unelmat vaativat toimintaa

Karu totuus on se, etteivät asiat tapahdu itsestään. Unelmat saattavat pahimmassa tapauksessa jäädä mielen perukoille pölyttymään vuosiksi. Siksi on tärkeää toimia nyt. Ei huomenna, vaan nyt. Inspiraatiossa ja ideoiden konkretisoitumisessa on se jännä piirre, että ainoastaan toiminta voi saattaa ne lopulliseen muotoonsa. Ei vain yksinkertaisesti ole tapaa saattaa valmista ideaa mielestä täysin identtisenä konkretiaan. Välissä on aina prosessi, joka muokkaantuu persoonallisen tekemisen tavan kautta.

Ohjaajan työssä teatterin puolella tämä tosiasia tulee usein vastaan. Kun pääsee vihdoinkin aloittamaan harjoitukset ja fyysisesti toteuttamaan visionsa, tulee vastaan monia tekijöitä, jotka muokkaavat alkuperäistä ideaa ja jalostavat sitä eteenpäin kohti täydellisyyttä. Ilman näitä asioita lopputulos jäisi vajaaksi.

Työelämässä pelkkä uran suunnittelu ja unelmointi voivat pahimmassa tapauksessa johtaa jämähtämiseen. Siksi on tärkeää kohdata arkielämässä vastaan tulevia asioita, jotka mahdollisesti inspiroivat ja vievät suunnitelmia kohti fyysistä tekemistä.

Alexander Chamberlainin filosofia on erittäin käyttökelpoinen, sillä se nimenomaan kannustaa konkretiaan. Jokaisen yksilöllinen tapa toimia otetaan ennakkoluulottomasti huomioon. Chamberlain rohkaisee jokaista tekemään syväluotaavan tutkimusmatkan omiin inspiraationlähteisiin, ottamaan itseään niskasta kiinni ja kehittymään kohti itselleen tärkeitä asioita. Hän pitää tärkeänä juuri niitä pieniä asioita, jotka muovaavat unelmia kohti toteutuneita tavoitteita.
